2015 Mrs Amy Walter
2013 I am Justin McLaughlin and I have been working as a school nurse for 15 years. I am currently working as a school nurse and school counselor in Hong Kong. I originally came from Melbourne, Australia and I was trained at the St Vincent¡¦s Hospital in Melbourne. In 2008 I obtained a Master Degree in Counselling at Monash University. After completing this study my role expanded to school counsellor and school nurse.

I am very grateful to receive the Hong Kong School Nurse of the year award 2013 and the Fellowship Award from the Hong Kong College of Paediatric Nursing in 2014.

School nurse has many essential roles and responsibilities in promoting the health and well-beings of children and adolescents. I hope to raise the profile of school nurses in Hong Kong and promote their role throughout the school community.
2012 I am Grandy Chan Lai-chun. I am now serving as a school nurse in The C.C.C. Mongkok Church Kai Oi School which is a special school for the mildly intellectual disabilities. I graduated as a registered nurse in TWGHs Kwong Wah Hospital, Hong Kong and started my nursing profession in 1987. I completed the Bachelor of Nursing Program in La Trobe University, Australia in 200I. I had been working in different hospitals including The Duchess of Kent Children Hospital, Queen Mary Hospital and Bradbrury Hospice.

I joined the Hong Kong School Nurse Association and achieved the School Nurse of the Year Award (2011-2012). It was very encouraging of being awarded Fellow of Hong Kong Academy of Nursing (Paediatrics) in 2011.

I find health promotion is crucial to the holistic growth of students and gradually help to build a healthy society since I have worked in school. For the well-being of children and with the support from our School Nursing Association, I will dedicate myself to the development of school health promotion. I hope the dream of ¡¥1 school 1 nurse¡¦ will come true in the future.
